India vs England: 26-year-old Ollie Pope produced a brilliant effort to get England out of trouble against India on the third day of the Test match.

England vice-captain Ollie Pope worked hard in the second innings of the opening Test match against India in Hyderabad to save the team from a delicate situation on the third day.

Pope scored a brilliant century on the third day at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad to help England take a 126-run lead against the Rohit Sharma-led side.

Pope scored his first century against India, his 5th overall in Test cricket, taking England's total to 316/6 at stumps on the third day.

Speaking on Sky Sports, Morgan said, "It's a pleasure to sit back and watch Pope do his job. He's scored runs all around the ground and is very busy at the crease."
